Concern:
When we realized the many challenges facing our project, concrete footing expense was one of the biggest. Our deck project took place at our camp on Catalina Island, which makes transportation and mixing concrete extremely difficult. This project worked on a very tight budget, and had no extra room for expenses. I certainly appreciate being able to have friends in the community that care about the mission and work of the YMCA. As you know, every dollar saved is another dollar we can put into service to our work with youth, teens and families. Craig Cerro |

The above plaque was a surprise to "Redi-Footing". A compliment to "Redi-Footing" for the use of footings in place of concrete. Glendale, CA is an Island off the main land. The original contract called for barging 20 yards of Redi Mix for constructing separate decks for the boys and girls YMCA. Having inquired on the website, and receiving my information, it was decided to use "Redi-Footings". A substantial amount of money was saved by using "Redi-Footing". |
